Union Grove Pickers

Based out of Sioux Falls, SD, the Union Grove Pickers are quite simply a group of friends who enjoy writing and playing music together. The band formed out of a recording project intended to make an album of Tim Jewell’s original material. Through that recording, a core band formed and was playing shows in short order. Since then, UGP has continued to showcase their brand of string-driven Americana music throughout the region, delighting audiences with music ranging from old-time standards to contemporary originals. The band has three albums under their belt including 2015 release Scattered & Sown. Personnel includes Erin Castle (vocals), Meg DeBoer (vocals), Travis Jamison (bass/vocals), Tim Jewell (guitar/vocals) and Josh Rieck (mandolin/guitar/vocals).
